Anyone ever Expereince this using Speedfan???

Thread Starter
I have set all of my parameters in Speedfan appropriately to reflect the names of each fan and their uses... As well as settying which fan cools which component and the temps at which the given fans will kick on and to what min and max speeds...

While running prime 95 on Blend occassionally speenfan will kick my 38mm Ultra Kazes on my Rad up to a Full 100% for a few seconds and then back down to the "set" maximum that I made and cycle through the increase and then decrease many times.... And it's Only during OCing. teh Fans will stay at their set minumum during normal use or while at idle....

Anyone ever expereince this?

EDIT:

I figured it out for anyone that did experience this but didn't know the resolution....

If you have your "warning Temps" set to low then your Fans will get bumped to 100% speed when the temp of that specific component reaches or goes above the "warning temp" set for it.... I moved mine upwards for my CPU and Cpu Ambient temps and the Issues stopped... LOL- I'm sure that mostt of you knew this laready though!?

Speedfan is a pretty shoddy app, someone should really make something more solid for controlling fans. Everyone knows of course, software level hardware control is notoriously inaccurate, for what it is it does the job fine, but damn, it could be so much better.
