It could also be more QPI too.

Here is a list of BSOD codes that might help a bit from another user on here.
http://www.overclock.net/general-pro...hen-ocing.html

I don't know how good your chip is but this is what I use for mine at 4 ghz so you could use it as a base to start on and increase the cpu and qpi/dram voltage as needed but keep the temps under 80c. I have the asus p6x58d premium board so some settings might not be the same as yours.

I would also set the ram timings to 9-9-9-24 2N and 1.5v

I tried bumping it up to 1.36. The OC still failed in Prime 95. What kind of increments should I be pushing it up by?

I tried all the settings you provided. It wouldn't boot up. Any suggestions on what settings I should be slowly rising or lowering?

Also, I would have done the DRAM timings, but I still have no idea what I'm supposed to change in order to obtain a 9-9-9-24 2N.

I have to same CPU and mobo as you and i used the following method from here: http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...920-930-a.html

Quote:
Method #3: Quick and dirty vcore boosting.

Set your ioh and ich to 1.2, your vdimm to 1.65, your cpu pll to 1.88, and your qpi/uncore to 1.35. Set Bclk to 190/191 or 210/211 and multiplier to 21 and 19 respectively.

The d0 chip usually hits 4.0 in the vcore range of 1.175 and 1.25 try those voltages until you find whats right for your chip.

The c0/c1 is a much more difficult beast with a much larger range of 1.27 to around 1.4 and up to 1.5 (Do not attempt on air unless you live somewhere really, really cold). Some may not hit 4ghz at all.

This method is more difficult as some chips may not boot until you give them the proper vcore
That worked for me and i started tweaking it to my liking after that!

I also recommending reading through the whole thing if you havent already, as it provides alot of useful information!
