Maxes (all options enabled and highest) BC2 and BLOPS (free multiplayer) at 60fps+ constant (vsync) but my card is OCed to 950mhz core

Not sure what games you play but, people say that BC2 runs terrible because it is a console port, so if the 560 handles it, i'd say you will be well off on the majority of games...

Cheers,

Ishi

You'll be fine, with those kinds of settings, especially if you get a model with a high factory OC.

I got the Evga SC...

I was gonna say you be better off with a 570 with that resolution and the settings you desire, but since you already bought it, try OCing it and see if you can play at the settings you want. The great thing about EVGA is that if you decide it's not enough for you, you can step up within 90 days of purchase. Good Luck!

Is the GTX 560 faster at BC2 then a 6870 at those settings?
i can put every texture and effect on high, and put af and aa on half way on every single game and my 560 ti is powering a 2600 x 1600 monitor

stay at about 90 FPS almost never drops. might be able to raise graphics a bit if you are okay with less fps

this is BFBC2, COD Black OPS, Medal of honor, Assassin's creed brotherhood, and more.

It depends on if you get GPU usage problems in the game. Something that nVidia still hasn't been able to fix. It depends on what you want to spend, really.

I run most games at 1920x1440 on my 6870 fine, but stuff like Crysis 2 and other high-end games I tend to run at 1600x1200. I think for some games in the next few months, I would play it safe and get something in the 300 range. Maybe a 6950, or 570.
