The Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Club - Page 146

I just saw your post in the water cooling thread. I also just got an AIO cooler myself. The Zalman LQ-320 (pics in my sig). It was $40 after MIR, otherwise I would have stuck with my 212 EVO. I have to say though that I hope you are wrong about the downward spiral, but I don't think you are. I am already looking at XSPC kits, which they say are a good place to start when getting into custom loops. This is not good my friend biggrin.gif

There is indeed. Almost positive it's the Haf 912. The Enforcer and 912 are "almost" the same case.

Aye, almost everything (actually I think everything!) is interchangable between the haf 912 and the storm enforcer. I am using a sort of hybrid myself. I bought the Storm Enforcer and put the side panels and front panel of the haf 912 onto the Storm chassis and couldn't be happier. I get to run my h60 with a 200mm fan still installed in the top. The inside is all black like the 912 Advanced that are hard as h#ll to get here in the States. I just like the look of the haf 912 and since my motherboard has like 6 usb3 ports on the back I really don't mind not having usb 3 up front.

Just installed it last night and it fits fine, getting the 24 pin through the hole was real tight though.
I plan on water cooling with a 200mm rad up front, hence all the bays removed.
Looking forward to finishing my build after Christmas.

I plan on get this exact case with the Maximus V Formula, and i just wanted to ask you. Did all of the stand offs / screws, line up with the board when you installed it, or did you have to force it or mod it to get it in?

This is what i have ready to order so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Formula EATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Storage: Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair Professional Gold 750W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer

Thank you in advance for any input you can give,

Frank
