I got a H80i installed on my rig and it works perfectly. I changed the fans to something that can move air better though. Dont get me wrong the Included Corsair Fans a good, but not great.

Noctua's are good no question about it, but with the right fans on the H80i, it works wonders.

On performance mode on idle, my CPU reading was 17C. Under load, it was at 30-35C I believe.

Thank you Modest Mouse...yes yes I know the riser system is second to none. LOL. Newest upgrade below...with slightly better cable management. My GPU, HDD's/SSD, CPU temp's dropped significantly with this mod.

GPU idle= 33-34C GPU gaming (varies) 70-84C. SSD=25C HDD1TB=26-27C HDD4TB=30C. CPU idle~26-27C (lowest core 22C w hottest about 30C) CPU load (prime 95 blend)=wont spike past 71C on any core but hottest core hovers around 65C with ambient room temp 24-25C. 3770K Overclocked to 4223MHz @1.27V.

I don't know how wcmktb mounted his but I used 3M double sided tape and it stays put at full rpm without any screws or zip ties (it's just to the right of the cold cathode tube).

Well if we are talking about the 140mm in front of the HDD's and SSD on bottom, I just used twist ties. It doesn't budge. Same for the top 120mm Noctua.

I think you are asking about the LED one though in the very front (the one in front of the top 120mm Noctua).

The first thing you have to do is to remove the inner notch things on the cover. In picture...right one still has em and I've removed them from the left cover. It doesn't effect functionality. The covers still snap in just fine.

Next I used two screws that came with the case that can actually be shoved in the bottom space in the frame (props to another guy in this forum somewhere). This allows the fan to sit on it as support. The bottom-most bay cover is the only one I added screws to.

After that the fan just slips between the lock-in mechanisms (whatever you call them...the notch things that lock the bay covers in place) on the bay covers. The fan lock mechanisms in the middle bay get pushed out a bit but it doesn't hurt anything. It actually acts as a way to help keep the fan on the grill.

The fan I've got there is a Cooler Master SickleFlow. I imagine it would work with most 120mm fans though. Hope that was helpful!

I used a similar method earlier to mount a 80mm fan. I couldn't insert 4 screws, but it worked well enough with two screws on opposite corners.

Cool, Thanks

I might try that or the 3M tapes.

I'll see and will post pics when they are done.

I just ordered a Sunlight stick and got my AX860i PSU last week, still waiting for my 24pin sleeved cables from corsair (Back ordered apparently).

Also waiting for a HAF 912 Side Panel, so much things to do when they come lol

New pics to come soon smile.gif

Finished my build last week but I haven't had time to upload the pics until now. Hopefully they come out okay, when I'm completely finished with everything I want to do I'll post some higher quality ones... who knows when that will be though.
