The Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Club - Page 48

The white painted case looks really good, well done.

I have a Storm Sniper as my main case but am thinking of the enforcer for my bedroom rig. Just wanted to ask something re the drive cage and long graphics cards. Have a gigabyte gtx570 which is 280mm long. I understand that cards up to only 270mm will fit with the drive cage installed. But what if I re-orient the drive cage so its opening is facing the GPU? Can the GPU manage to squeeze in there or does it require the removal of the cage altogether?

Thanks.

I don't know if you can install larger cards by rotating the cage, but if you don't use it, it might be better to remove the drive cage completely as it also improves the airflow.

I just got it all to gather yesterday here a short list what's in the build.
Its a little tight around the top inside the case where I have the CPU cooler
mounted.
Its seating right on top of the Ram don’t know if that’s good?
It’s all up and running last night for about 3 hour with no problems.

CASE--Cooler Master Storm Enforcer
PSU--Antec HCG-900
Motherboard –-Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3
CPU Intel --Core i5- 2500k LGA 1155
CPU Fan --Corsair H100 Liquid CPU cooler
RAM --Patriot Memory G2 Series DDR3/1333 16GB
Optical Drive --Plextor B950SA 12X BD-R 2X BD-RE
HDD --Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB
SSD--OCZ Solid SLD3- 25SAT3 60G
GPU 2x --XFX Radeon HD 6970
OS -- Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

How did you managed to fit in there the H100? there was a question on this thread, but there was only work arounds because there was not enough headroom for the fans.
The H100 is 275mm long, and the Storm Enforcer case has a recessed top where a 240mm radiator will fit.
To get it to fit, I placed the mounting screws through some of the grills.
It’s flush against the case top/grill.
Also, one of the fans is right up against the memory.
It’s a tight fit.
But it works if you need to see more photos I can put some more up just tell me where you would like me to zoom in on?

The top grill would be nice to see and how the fan sits on the ram, you made photos are great but they are way to low resolution.

I can only upload 2meg photo.
Give me your email and i'll send you better photos.

As you can see i did use the last two screw on the right side.
It holds the radiator good with out them though.
And I can feel air pulling in to the top radiator with no problem.
I keep eye on the cpu temp and it looks good at just 22C for about 6 hours use, but I have not overclock the cpu yet.
I'm good to break in the cpu first for about a week before do that.
