Hmm... This was connected with the intake at the front. It has a molex connector and a 4-pin molex plug shown below. I plugged in the connector, do I need the 4-pin plug as well?

This is for my Corsair H80. It only has 2 pins, instead of 3 or 4. Will it still work?

Well for one, you definitely must plug in that Power SW wire. It stands for Power switch and your power button will not work without it. Refer to the motherboard manual or the PCB on the motherboard to see where to plug it in. If it is the same layout as the UD3H then the pins have a red backdrop on the bottom of the motherboard.

For second question, you pictured a standard molex connection and I cannot tell where it is coming from. Just know that your fans must be connected to EITHER the power supply using a molex connector OR your motherboard using a 3 pin fan connector. Your 2 pin Corsair plug will work no problem!

Haha, I will once I know everything is up and running.

Thanks! I assumed that the colors on the mobo were supposed to be labeled with color of the case wire, but the labels such as HDD led were completely wrong when connected with its color( it plugged into the reset switch)

Quick question. My graphics card came with 2 6-pin pci-e to molex adapters, but my psu came with 8pin to 6+2pin pci-e adapters. My card has 2 6-pin sockets, can either of them work? (I'd prefer the 8 pin to 6+2 pin because it uses MUCH less wiring)

The only other place I could find was a 2-pin slot called "HP power" by the CPU.

Go by what the wires are labeled not their color...just because a wire is red doesn't necessarily mean it goes in the red slot. The UD5H is probably the same as my UD3H so in that case the orange PW Switch wire would go in the red shaded slot on the motherboard.

ooh I just figured that out, so i edited the post. Guess i was a bit late on the editing. >_< But if you know anything about the edited one it would help a lot. Then I can most likely begin a boot test.

Haha no problem, I remember my confusion during my first build! Use the 8 pin PCI-E power connectors from your power supply. Just break off the two pins (not literally, it should easily split) to connect to the two 6 pins on your graphics card. The molex adapters are for those with power supplies that don't have enough PCI-E adapters, thus allowing the power to pass through molex instead.

frozen aces used the molex to 6 pin adapters instead of his 6 pins on his PSU lol. Sorry man but I had to laugh at this. As stated above, your power supply should have cables with either 2 - 8 pins on the ends, 2 - 6 pins or 1 - 6 pin & 1 8 - pin use those wires to give power to your GPU, not the supplid molex connectors (they look very ugly). If your PSU has the 8 pin's, you will have a couple of wires hanging off to the side but that's no big deal.

Also turn your fan around on your Corsair CPU Cooler so the wire comes out of the fan near the motherboard and route your 24 pin connector and all other wires behind your motherboard tray and use zip ties to fasten them down. Then while the side panel is off (giving you voo-doo advise here), power up your computer, if you put the side panel on before you power it up for the first time, it will not work. Then hope to god that the rats nest of wires isn't caught up in any of your fans when you power up because you'll probably hear a loud grinding noise.

I have alot more cables than you and I was able to achieve this:

don't read the edits to this, I figured out everything. One problem, none of my fans are spinning... except my Graphics card fan. My intake and exhaust fans aren't moving whatsoever. Please help! I connected all the fans to the "SYS_FAN" yet nothing is happening. Maybe I connected it the wrong way? or since it's 3 pin I could have put it on the wrong pins...?

Also, I hope this is a bit neater. The little clump on the right is just because I wanted to keep the wires in one place instead of two hanging loose.
Rear exhaust and front low intake are the ones that aren't working.
