I'd go for a 6870 K2F if your playing 1080p.
Why the hell would I have it open on purpose? o_O

I just happened to be reading that thread. I do that a lot. I read through threads but I don't post anything in them. Hell, I lurked OCN for a year before joining.

The 6850 is basically the 'You don't need more than that' card for 1080p.
Runs everything fine except for the badly coded ones.

If you have the budget go for the 1GB 6950 or the 560 ti.
