Ghosting on my 27" Asus monitor

Thread Starter
i have this monitor, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236103. it ghost like a mofo when i move while looking at light objects on a dark background, while looking at shadows, and looking at the sun in games. What causes ghosting i never under stood why it happens? is their a way to fix it without buying a different monitor. my other 24" Asus LED monitor ghost as well but not nearly as bad.

I thought it was caused by slow response time but 2ms isn't slow.
