Yes, the Kryos will not fit these TFC but I do have a few spare barbs w/ pretty Koolance clamps. Only blocks that I know of and can fit these big guys is the Rasa block and the EK supreme hf rev 1 round-top (which I currently have, I detest EK for their $i77y nickel) and rev 2.

The Kryos Silver is pure smexy, I don't know if any one has shelled out the almost $300 to get one
I don't think there is any straight 1/2 x 3/4 compression fittings that work with Kryos, they all seem to have at least 26 mm outer diameter.

Koolance 370 will also fit, but I think its only the slightly slimmer koolance 12mmx19mm compression fittings.

I chose XPSC Rasa block since it was low-middle of the road price and good price-performance value at the time (Dec 2010).

I have not had any problems with it running 1/2"OD barb fittings with 7/16" ID tubing (I use standard metal hose clamps to secure the 7/16" even though it is very snug at initial install).

It's mounting system is not the best but it was very straight forward to install.

XSPC Rasa is pretty good still right? I'm thinking about buying one, and I don't have such a wide selection to chose from.

I have a Laing D5T with a Alphacool HF D5 TOP.

Loop is Res->Pump->240Rad->Gpu->Cpu->420Rad -> Res

Would it still manage 1 gpm at ~medium speed with this block, since it is said to be restrictive?

If your not on budget, go for the 370

i use a koolance - 370.

I love it, because its not super mount sensitive.
It has good mounting system.
And its hard to beat out of the box.
