Help me with my build

Thread Starter
I have $1200 (after rebates) to spend on a new build. I dont need mouse, keyboard, monitor, optical drive, hard drive or speakers.

So far my only requirements is that I need a case that I can upgrade to water cooling later on. and please critique my list, any comments appreciated.

I will be purchasing on newegg as they have a 10% off coupon for first time buyers.
So far:
mobo + cpu-ASUS WS revolution and 2500k- 465
video card-his hd 6950 2gb- 250 w/20 mir- 230
PSU- cooler master silent pro- 160
Mem- ripjaws 2x2 1600 cl 7- 60
OS- win7 64 bit- 90

total-1025--->%10off+$13=915
so I have ~275 for case and maybe a ssd

I'd go for the Seasonic X650/X750 Gold over that CoolerMaster PSU any day of the week:

NZXT Phantom is a nice Full Tower case going for $120 AC right now:

Yea, good choice, Cooler Master has been known to make terrible PSUs, and usually use lower wattage clones. Besides that, your build looks very balanced, should be awesome

On another note, 1,700th post!

EDIT: A quality 650w is plenty for future XFire, I ran my current rig off an Antec Neo Eco 620c for a while.

He could upgrade to faster RAM but I don't think there would be any noticeable speed improvement. If there was it wouldn't be worth the cash to upgrade

I did reed a review that ram below 1600mhz (1333) has a minor performance impact. but just in case i think I can get the g skills evo 2x2 1600mhz cl7 at 1.35 volts, does that have any overclocking room?
Also the 6950 is not reference design, would i still be able to water cool it in the future?
