Will I experience serious performance loss with AMD?

So, I got my sig rig which I like but will be giving it to my relative in a few weeks.. I've decided to build another computer but with AMD rather than intel. I've picked up a crosshair V and am still trying to figure out what chip to get until BD comes out...I may even wait about 2-3 months after it comes out just because I'm lazy...if I'm using a gtx 570 with a 1090t or 965BE will I be able to run my games similarly to my current sig rig setup? I'm playing @ 1920x1200 i believe.. and am currently playing games such as MOH (2010), BC2, Crysis 2...will the processors be able to run the games at decent fps? I know AMD isnt as bad as some people make it out to be, hence, my recent purchase...I just wanna know that the current AMD chips can run my games well until BD.

Yes, you will notice a difference. AMDs don't handle physics as well as Intels. I have both, but I built mine opposite of what you plan on doing. I would just wait to build a bulldozer.

When my sig rig was working, i didnt seem to have any problem with both GPU physics and CPU physics engines, AKa, sc2 and other RTS along with mirrors edge, metro and that nvidia demo, rocket sled, i was able to run all games at absolute max, exclusion of metro2033 given that can bring quad sli to its knees.

This statement has no foundation. Dude unless you do some serious graphics, like 3 monitors with full on AA and tri sli/fire i don't think you will notice a difference. I have no experience with new gen intels but, my c2q and my phenom2 handle pretty much the same.

Nah, I think you'll be alright I'd definitely wait until Bulldozer comes out though.

You'll lose performance in games, definitely... it just depends if you notice it or not. It can be a case of 50 FPS vs 70-80FPS most of the time.

Edit: There has been various people on these forums that upgraded from Phenom II to Sandybridge and reported huge gains/lifted bottlenecks so...

I can tell you from personal experience, with that GPU, it wont matter if you have a 1090t or 965BE, it'll run just fine.

Obviously Intel is better, but I've played all 3 of those games, and with my B55 (Unlocked 555 BE), it performed identical to my Xeon X3440 @ 4ghz.

I notice no performance decrease or hindrance unless I'm recording using FRAPS, in which case my frames drop more with my unlocked 555BE.

Your FPS will be just fine. If you don't believe me, I'll go fire up BC2 and record in 1080p, same with MoH (That will take longer as I need to install it)... and Crysis 2 was only the demo but it ran tremendously well.
