Am I the only one who gets really really tired of hearing people whine about how loud case fans are in reviews?
Yes same with "I want a silent fan that pushes a lot of air!"

Most people whine about the fans not running at the speced rates. MAYBE BEACUSE YOUR MOBO IS CHANGING THE SPEED.

hahahaha, true!

To be honest, fan noise never seems to bug me, keeps the illusion going that my rig is alive, therefore justifying me talking to it when it crashes.

Some people are more sensitive to noise than others. It is only natural that some will whine and demand fans with make no sound yet push air like no man's business.

Personally, I need my case as silent as possible since I have a roommate and won't be shutting my desktop down in much.
Considering that I have other things that I plan to piss him off with (eg, the blue glow from the case at night which will hopefully freak someone out lol), it is probably best not to add excessive noise to the list

That said, it really depends. I've heard people complain about Gentle Typhoons being uber loud, yet others (majority) call them dead silent. Very subjective in my opinion.
