best 1155 MoBo

Thread Starter
so im building a premium system that will be a beast with gamin, run multiple programs at once without a problem, play movies and to DJ with. I plan on OCing the computer eventually. Im getting a Sandybridge core i7 2600k processor which is a 1155 socket and want to know what would be the best mobo for this build. I was planning on using the asus maximus IV extreme mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131700

but someone said that it is over kill. Is there a better option out there? something that is just as good for less money or same money that is better? now i want a top of the line computer but at the same time if there is a mobo that is $100 cheaper and the difference in performance or features is the same or noticeable i would of course chose the cheaper option as my budget is $2,000. let me here your guys suggestions

If you are planning to run more than two gpu and want all the bells and whistles with a 1155 mb, that one is one of them.

I paid $110 less for the ws revolution. The ROG boards are nice but most are just addons and accessories that one can do without (I own a R3E btw).

That's a wicked board for sure, but unless you intend on using all of those options, its a waste of money. I for one love my UD4, so stable with 16 phases and about $100 cheaper too.
