As said.

Not to bad for a 790x chipset

I will keep up dating as I go along.

I am looking to 4 GHz+, but it's been a while since I have overclocked a locked multi CPU.

I thought that it was pretty decent since I got 300MHz on the bus off of a 790x chipset.

I just wished they got a bulldozer bios update.

Iv'e had nearly the same board as you, it was a Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5

Try these settings:

FSB 300,
CPU 4050MHz,
Northbridge 3000MHz
RAM 1600MHz or 1333MHz, what ever your memory settings are and timings,
HT Link around 2000MHz as you can,

CPU 1.45V
CPU-NB 1.37V
NB 1.25V
SB/HT 1.22V
RAM Voltage, what ever settings they are, if it's rated for 1.65, then take it upto 1.68 or 1.7V

Make sure the CPU load tempature stays under 55C if possible and the max is 62C

Hope this will help you achieve 4.0GHz
