Excellent board, but the UD5 is even better compared to the price-performance ratio in my opinion. But the UD3 is amazing as well and that for such a reliable price smile.gif

Thinking about the exact same thing, 3 PCI-E slots and 8+2 Phase for £99.

Also gigabyte are easier with RMA in England, Asus are a pain in the arse but they are good quality so I wouldn't rule them out completely.

Umm, Hi I just ordered this MoBo but now I wanna be sure if I got it correct: Will this MoBo run with my PSU(Corsair HX520W)?
I'm asking this cause my current MoBo has 4-pin connector on pcb while this one has 8-pin, and I can't find anything about connecting power in on-line manual

Sorry if this is dumb question confusedsmiley.png

it'll run fine with that PSU, it supports the newest EPS spec. i'm pretty sure that PSU has an 8-pin EPS connector.

On the other hand..... motherboard's out on Newegg, but in the higher tier $150 range, hmm

The 99 pounds is more expensive then the board on newegg.

99 pounds comes out to $162 .

Here in Canada it's only $145 at NCIX (though it's pre-order). At least we have an idea of what price range this board is starting in - and by extension, what price the 990FXA-UD3 will take up.

I've been sitting her at work looking at the 990XA all morning and am so tempted to get it. For only $150 it seems like an amazing deal. I really don't need a FX chipset as the only real gain is the x16/x16 crossfire/sli support. Me thinks I have to sell some stuff this week wheee.gif
