How do you like Asus notebooks?

Thread Starter
So my alienware i have had since march of 2009 caught on fire yesterday where the ac adapter plugs into the laptop and melted the cable into the laptop and it caught on fire.

So i went out and bought an Asus G73sw last night with 8gb of ram, a Nvidia 460m graphics card, 750gb HDD, and a core-i7 2630qm cpu.

Has anyone else bought one of these or another G series laptop from Asus and how do you like it?

They are the best bang for your buck laptops. Very efficient cooling as well, cool design.

I love Asus. Their build quality is good and customer service rock. My M50VM has been running strong since winter 2008.

I bought a G53SW-QHD-B1 1 month ago, and love it!

I replaced the HDD with a C300 SSD, and put more RAM to get 16Gb, and after re-installing a clean Win 7, this thing is flying! The Nvidia GTX 460M is really easy to OC. And with ThrottleStop, I get great fps in games.

Everything stay nice and cool.
