Did they literally just pull numbers out of their ass for this review?

Haha show me tri 580 set up doing 117 fps at 1200P.

And no they didn't compare quad fire.
You guys are thick.

Today's test setup is identical to last weeks one for the HIS HD6990, except the obvious switch from AMD to nVidia hardware and drivers. Catalyst 11.5

Hey derp, look. They tested the Radeon last week and the numbers are exactly the same for the 580s. Golly gee, what a coincidink. Let's go back a few reviews further, here's a 560 SLI review on 270.61!

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/g...c_sli_review/7

SNAP, the 580 numbers are the same again. This is one consistent bench they are running! Hold on a sec though, I found a 580 review from March on 266.58!

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/g...tning_review/8

OH EM GEE, the same 580 numbers again!

Wait a tick... I see what's going on. This is a 590 vs 6990 review, as reflected in the fact that most of the trials ONLY include these two cards to begin with. They just went back and got data from older trials on older drivers for the non-reviewed cards and slapped them in as a reference point for Warhead/Metro.

That sure was a tough nut to crack! If only I had some of that 'common sense' you're talking about.

No one is refuting the 580 numbers.

Please find a review that corroborates the 590 score at 1200p.

Once again..

How does a 590 at 609 get 117fps when sli 580 does not even get close.
It's not a magic driver.

Look here, even at 1080p with heavily overclocked tri quad sli 580s, 126fps.
Lower IQ settings at that.

So you keep on derp derping, really shows your maturity level.

The fact is the M2033 1200p numbers are wrong.

Have they fixed the suicidal GTX 590s yet? If not, then even if it performs better, that's pointless if your card's gonna an hero.

I agree something ducky going on here.

Maybe we should wait for HardOcp to verify these results... oh wait...

I don't get why these review sites can't do proper reviews.

Dunno.

But what I do know if that a single 590 CANNOT score 30% better than 580SLI and more importantly will not get 117FPS on metro @ 1200p. What driver version is really not relevant.
Heck, I get like 10 maybe lower FPS on metro with max settings with 6048x1200 resolutions q.q

What kind of monitors are you using?

EDIT: I'm assuming bezel compensation. Derp moment.
