It'd just be nice to have more vendors on these cards, having the asus and evga cards go OOS like crazy lol

Once again..

How does a 590 at 609 get 117fps when sli 580 does not even get close.
It's not a magic driver.
Yeah my bad, I'll go look for another 590 review using the drivers that came out a week ago in order to validate your conspiracy theory. Hold your breath I'll brb.

Getting hung up on this single 1200p trial on one of the few games that the Radeon actually wins across multi-monitors, I don't get it.

What if they ran 580 SLI with the new drivers as well to see what they get?

Why do all these reviews always leave so much for speculation?

For once I'd like to see a straight forward review, that doesn't leave us wondering / debating things that don't add up. And while we're at it can I get some Bulldozer benchmarks? That would be a bonus. ( Now I'm asking for too much, I know. )

How does a 590 (a.k.a underclocked 580 SLI @ 609 MHz) get 35 fps more than 580 SLI @ 772 MHz?

Lower core clock = faster card? I guess we should underclock cards to get more performance?

He also did not state which drivers he used for the rest of the cards. It would be foolish to use different drivers and make comparisons between different Nvidia cards.

I think it's been established he's using old 580 SLI scores, not sure how far they go. Too lazy to look.

Last three drivers improved the Nvidia cards with focus on 560 & 580's mostly. Scaling SLI did get some attention. Also focused heavily on improving, supporting, and widening range of 3D vision.

Wonder what will happen if I install these new drivers on my single 570 (w/ 266.xx) ...prolly nothing.

I mean I get they had to do some optimization for the dual gpu, but 2010rig do you really think it can beat the 580SLI (w/ 266.xx) config by that wide of a margin?

--snip--
so, he should definitely update his scores for at least 580 SLI for proper comparison in this review, and compare to 6990 CF? But maybe he doesn't have 2 6990's.

Personally, I don't think so, considering the obvious of how underclocked the 590 is.

If he's going to compare them, he should at least run 580 SLI with the latest drivers as well.

He's using scores from this review which is from November 2010, so, those would be 8 month old release drivers.
