BSOD 124 making me crazy :/ - Page 3

post #21 of 24
Thread Starter
Think I found a solution (need to test longer to be 100% sure tho), played a few hour without problem now:

Start > Documents > BFBC2 > settings.ini

Change the value behind SpeakerCount to 1, so you will get:
SpeakerCount=1

0x101 = increase vcore
0x124 = increase/decrease vcore or QPI/VTT...have to test to see which one it is
0x0A = unstable RAM/IMC, increase QPI first, if that doesn't work increase vcore
0x1E = increase vcore
0x3B = increase vcore
0xD1 = QPI/VTT, increase/decrease as necessary
0x9C = QPI/VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances
0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency or uncore multi unstable, increase RAM voltage or adjust QPI/VTT, or lower uncore if you're higher than 2x
0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU)
0X00000109 << Not enough or too Much memory voltage

Common BSOD error codes and solutions.

Can you share with us your method for concluding your cpu overclock is 100% stable.
