Ninite - The Easy Way To Install Software

Thread Starter

The site ninite.com will allow you to install multiple programs at once, and make it very easy to do so. Ninite keeps all of their software up to date, so it could also be used for updating previous installations. It would be ideal for a fresh install of Windows, or even Linux. Once you select which programs you want to install, the site will download a small installer package for those programs. All you have to do is run the package and wait for it to finish. Once you are done you can remove the installer from your downloads folder. There is no add or crapware involved with this, it performs a very clean installation.

------------------------------------------------------------

The steps to using Ninite are as follows:

1) Navigate to http://ninite.com/ and select the files you wish to install.

--------------------

2) Scroll to the bottom of the page, and once you are ready to install, click the rectangular "Get Installer" button. It will ask to download a file, once that file is downloaded, open it (click "OK" for all permission messages), and let it do it's thing.

--------------------

3) The installation window should look like this (I downloaded Team Viewer):

--------------------

4) And when the download/installation is complete, click finish. Your program(s) will now be installed and ready to use.

------------------------------------------------------------

Haha you made instructions for one of the most simple installers around!

Well good on you for spreading the word, because Ninite is amazing! Ive been n using Ninite One (the Paid
version) at work, its so good! So many more things can be done with it. Just email them and ask for a trial, they give them out for free

I didn't mention the paid version, because most OCNers probably wouldn't want/need to pay the price, $20/month.
