True. But EK seem to believe distilled water and silver is highly corrosive.

OP I highly suggest you contact EK and be absolutely certain the fluid you use in your loop is recommended by them. I can't believe you bought those blocks in the first place.. boggles the mind.

Anyway, I wish you luck.

I hope you don't mind me asking for a rough total of how much you have spent. I simply want to get a feel for how much such a complete custom package costs, not say you spent too much.

Thx dudes...
I just got lucky, I bought both GPU waterblocks 1 week ago, so I can ask for revocation and I'll do it.

So which water block do you recommend? AquaGratix from AquaComputer or the Koolance AR6870?
For the cpu the same thing, ill change to Appoge XT.

I hope you didn't go out and buy all new blocks just because of the 'EK' problem or at least you got your money back on those blocks

Thats why nature created WATER. So we could cool our computer systems without mess. I don't understand why people use anything other then distilled water and ptnuke / silver. No one listens. lol

You cleaned ALL your parts before running them, right? From my experience, that's the MAIN reason people get build up / corrosion. Usually from the rad and blocks. tube, pumps, fittings and res'. arent usually nasty...

EDIT: btw, I dont have one, but I like that XSPC res / pump combo. Although I wish I knew the thread size for that fillport on top. My XSPC res top for my 355 has that same black fillport, and the thread is unconventional for w/cing. Wish I knew what it was. lol
