Mobo help

**This is NOT a WTB thread!**

Im looking for a mostly RED colored mobo for a build for my wife. Prefer it to be black PCB with (mostly) red slots/connectors. The only one ive been able to find with red mem/pci slots is the Biostar A780L. I know nothing about Biostar boards other than its hit and run llike many other low end mobo makers on finding a good one that will last. Im a DFI guy with one mistake in buying an MSi for my web server, so suggestions are appreciated!

I prefer to not spend a lot of money, in fact $50-60 is all im looking to spend. So if anyone knows of a mobo like this would you mind at the very least posting a model number if not a link to it?

Im only planning on using a Sempron 140 unlocked to DC with a mild OC to 3.0, and the 3850 from my system, so it doesnt have to be a heavy OC'er board with a lot of features.

Only boards I can think/find in that price range are blue, Biostar boards are not to bad nowadays aslong as you dont push the oc too far but the 3ghz should stay nice and stable

Edit: done some research on that Biostar A780L and its got some good reviews there was even a thread on ocn about it and it got the thumbs up so give it shot

There should be other Biostar boards such as the A880G+ that fit your specifications.
On a 3Ghz Athlon II x2 I wouldn't consider VRM design a massive issue.

Yea definitely go with the Biostar A880G+ . On Newegg it's actually a little cheaper than the A70L3G and has free shipping. It's basically the same board but with a new chipset. It's a pretty great board for the low price tag.

Hmm a bit more red like i want, but then id have to buy DDR3 for it, theres an open box for $42. Of course, its not 'so' expensive now, but i do have 2 gigs of Corsair XMS2 not in use.

Yea vrm wont be an issue, thats an 2.7GHz chip so 3.0 isnt much of a gain, not like my 800MHz OC on my 5000+BE
