why would we suffer ? OH. because of china's reputation... China ain't a threat to the western world. apart maybe for the U.S.

This is good. China is going forward while we continue to use inefficient and polluting energy like petrol...

I hope china goes all out nuclear/solar way so their air get cleaner . And also to discover new energy sources and tech for the world.

China in some way is what the western world was like a couple decade ago. Most of the population are doing manual work. The amount of useless jobs that the western world has wasting time and potential (every jobs at the government with no real purpose and all the lawyers with nothing to do but to make stupid cases just to get a pay at the end of the week...)

The only problem China as is the guy leading the mass... The country in itself is a copy of an older and better version of america. Gotta love those folks.

Not too political I hope I did my best to not make it so.

No. The US invests in their military. And the military of another country that will go unnamed....

That is why we are lagging behind.

I think what you're trying to say is that China is high in unskilled labor(ers)? I wouldn't say that is quite a 'copy'. Oh, and doesn't China have the worst air pollution in the world from their use of fossil fuels?

On the other hand, we (America) can somehow afford to spend $12 Billion a month on military action...
