Why are they coming out with LGA 2011, SB-E, and IB all at the same time...?
LGA 2011 is SB-E, it's enthusiast and high end, Ivy bridge is main stream(but it might be faster 0_o)

Dude we're in the same city. Rofl.

I bet the x79 board that does both 1366 and 2011 will be faster than IB, but that's it

Yeah talking the LGA 2011 socket, does intel usually go by calendar year or fiscal year when they say Q4?

I believe it'll be 4 core/8 thread locked and 6 core/12 thread unlocked

Sweet, you ever shop at compxparts? They have some good prices, no microcenter, but cheaper than Newegg. Also, that board I believe will only run 1 CPU, and can't do both.

4-6 cores. 4 is locked, 6cores are unlocked but the higher one has more cache.

There's one that IS a concept board but I'm sure it will be released at some point: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthre...7#post31784277

I bought a PSU from there once. I usually just do newegg or amazon for big purchases though. How much better than newegg are the prices?

About 10 bucks more than microcenter, but 20 or so cheaper than the egg. I go to MC up in denver for all my big stuff mostly.
