edit: note the crossfire gpus

Listed above are all of the 'necessary' parts to this build.

Could someone give me any suggestions/comments? (I've gotten a few about getting a different motherboard or PSU: is an 850 overkill?)

And peripherals (monitors, keyboard, etc):

This build will be for gaming / some multimedia.

850 watt is way overkill, i'm running my sig rig on a 550. But it would be good to have if you plan in doing Crossfire in the future.

Edit: FYI. that same monitor is $10 cheaper on Amazon with free shipping.

Well, a corsair tx650w would be fine for that build, unless you plan on going crossfire, then get something above 750.

and do you really need 8gb? unless you run vm's or alot of video editing and encoding then 4gb is more than enough,

cooler is fine, you can get 4.5ghz on it i think
motherboard, seems ok, i never tried an ASrock, look into Z68 boards though

EDIT: just realised you have TWO Hd6950's, yeah stick with the 850w

Yeah, this is a crossfire build - sorry for not letting you know. I have 1 of everything else (except monitors/hdds/etc)

I would recommend an ASUS motherboard over that Asrock. Also, you should try to find some blue RAM and have a color scheme going. Everyone loves aesthetics. ;D

850W is NOT overkill for 2x 6950's. It's pretty much necessary.
