H50 + i7 870 Temperatures

Just picked up an H50 the other day on sale at bestbuy for $40. It was replacing my Scythe Mugen 2. The clocks I had kept the same, and voltage was also kept the same. At the time being, these are my temperatures under full load. Also note that this was only leaving prime95 on for a couple of minutes. My mugen 2 had kept the temps down to about 60-63c under load.

The h50 is using the stock thermal pad, as I read that its best to keep that on. Fans are 2 Scythe Slipstream 80cfm fans in push/pull. H50 is mounted in the rear exhaust of the cm storm scout. HT is on, and i'd prefer to keep it that way.

yeah those temps are high for 1.18v! Try reseating it maybe? Also try having the fans suck air into the case. In my loop that dropped my temp 3 degrees atleast.

The h50 isn't that good anyways though.

But really, yeah you should try reseating. I'm sure the h50 won't perform worse than the mugen 2...
