EDIT: That'd mean the highest end bulldozer rig to cost ~500$ or am I missing somthing? I really can't wait to see how bulldozer performs.

Considering the high end Sandy Bridge boards are well over 300.. comparatively yes it is cheap.

200 is the least i would ever spend on a motherboard just for the fact that the mobo is a very important part of the system. Everything connects to it, at all those connections you gotta make sure your board is high quality. Anyways yea the AMD boards are cheaper than before, its interesting.
