TX950W replacement, what?

Thread Starter
Hey guys!

I'm selling my Corsair TX950W, because it is pretty much an overkill for my system. I now realize that.

So my question is that, what would be the recommended PSU for my system for the next 3-5 years (Corsair has 5 years as I remember for its TX series). Also considering future upgrades. It would be nice to have an approximate recommendation from someone who knows more about PSUs and power consumption than me.

PS: I don't intend to go SLI.

PS #2: I already have a buyer, one of my friends. So it's not on sale on this forum, that's not what I meant. Sorry for misleading any of you.

A good quality 500-600 is plenty for your system. Any of the below are good. Im using the Silverstone in my sons PC and its very good for the money.

You can get a lot of cheaper PSUs but as you want it to last better not to go too cheap.

Seasonic M12II Bronze 520W 80Plus
CORSAIR GS600 GAMING SERIES
SilverStone Strider Essential ST50F-ES 500W

Any quality 400W really.

CX400
CX430v2
NeoECO 400C
Earthwatts EA430D

Etc.

The point is that I can get my hands on additional money for something else. TX950 wasn't cheap : \\. And this is clearly an overkill for my system. Something I didn't know when I bought it.

Thank you for the recommendation guys!

LOL wow $150 after mir. I got a crazy deal on mine so I thought those were normal prices or eventually would become normal prices. So if you sell it for $120 and buy another PSU $60 you make $60. Not a bad idea then
and i recommend this

XFX 450/Rosewill RG-430/Antec EA430D/Neo ECO 450C.

400w would cut it aswell, but I'd like to see slightly more than that on an overclocked Phenom II/GTX 560Ti rig.

The 450C isn't available in North America, AFAIK.
