Nothing, Just game on it..

( mostly because some 570s can kick the bucket when put through those furmark based artifact checking programs. ) Plus those loads wont always find instability. I can cook up furmark stable overclocks. that will crash withing minutes in game. Therefor gaming IMO at least , is the best stress test.

OCCT is definitely the best at checking for artifacts.
OCCT, benchmarks, games.

There's nothing much else to say about it, other than you obviously need to visually see to judge, though OCCT has methods of automatically detecting some artifacts.

Ah, ok. That explains passing Furmark and then the issues in game. I'll start with OCCT then check in game.

Thanks gang!

If you use a reference GTX 570 don't even try running OCCT or you may have the risk to fry the card.
Do some Crysis loops and heaven benchmark.
OCCT, Furmark, EVGA OC Scanner ... etc push the VRMs way too hard that any game won't push them like that. and a reference GTX 570 killed by high voltage running these programs is very common.

No worries Headless. Asus card.

Question, I've enabled voltage control in MSI but it's still greyed out. What do I need to do so I can up the voltage a bit?

I just ran a stability app from OCCT for 20 Mins with no errors at 903Mhz on core to start. Memory at stock and so is voltage. Temps are at 82 C with Fan at 80%.
Can this card handle higher temps? If so how high is too high?
I want to stretch its legs and see what kind of clocks I can get to. 1Ghz on core would be very nice. Then I would be near Gigabytes SOC 560GTX TI with 1000Mhz on the core and some ridiculous Mem OC too. Shaders hit 2Gz!I feel maybe I should have spent the other 100 bucks and grabbed the Gigabyte 570 SOC that they have in the store. That would have lasted me another year-18 Months for sure.
Any word on Flashing my BIOS to ASUS top edition 560TI CU II with 900Mhz core?

What. SO I am idle at desktop around 30 C at 905 Core and Mem at 4396Mhz. Now as soon as i fire up say furmark or another GPU stress test app my GPU temps go up to 81C max. Something has to be wrong with how thermal paste was applied or something like that. I shouldn't be fluctuating 50 C between no to full load?
Anyone else have any ideas?
