Ah yes, back when the awp quickswitch actually worked...Good times.
For me, I would say TF2. Competitive TF2 will never get boring. I dunno how Valve managed to make such a well-balanced game, but they deserve major kudos for doing so. High-level TF2 play never ceases to make my jaw drop. Case in point...
For single player, Portal 2 takes the cake. If that doesn't count, then...hmm, not sure...For me, I think it's a toss-up between Halo: Reach (don't hate...I'll state my reasons in a second) and the Killzone series. Reach's campaign was the best campaign by far out of the entire series and MLG is bringing out the real skill required to be good at the game. One of the badass moments from the campaign...
As for the Killzone series, the campaign in KZ2 was just downright ridiculous. It was intense from start to finish (haven't played KZ3 yet, but I'm guessing it's just as badass). Warzone is one of the most innovative multiplayer modes I have played to date. Really fun.
EDIT: Yeah, didn't see that this was posted in the PC forum, which was why I mentioned Reach and Killzone...
. I'll think of another PC game...Edited by decimator - 6/11/11 at 9:41pm
