Power/Reset/HDD Headers

Thread Starter
I am unsure of how to plug in the power connectors as they do not have + or - on it. However they do have an small triangle-ish arrow on one side, does that represent negative or positive?

those headers have so little power anyway that you can insert them the wrong way and nothing bad will happen.

so yeah go ahead and plug it... if it doesn't work just flip it around.

I am not sure of that little triangle marker. But you can usually judge by the common colour of the wires. That common colour is usually negative. For example, if you have 3 case headers of black/red, black/green and black/blue, then the black (being the common colour) wire is usually the negative. Often, the common colour is either black or white.
You can also use this to cross check the triangle marker.

For simple switches, the polarity does not matter. It works either way. So, Reset does not matter but LED (like HDD activity) does matter. It does not work if it is reversed. I think it does not do any damage either. So, go by the common colour. If it does not work properly, just reverse it.
