I would like to make sure you know really quick that the northbridge listed at 3200 Mhz in your sig thats on your motherboard actually exists in your CPU wink.gif

Oh and your post about 790FX GD70 having more phases? Umm, no. The 790 board is even weaker than the 890.

I cant even sift through this thread, its full of crap.
OP:
GD70 is fine with quad cores, X6 Thubans pull a lot more power from the wall (A LOT) even though they dont produce as high of a heat/power ratio...TDP stands for Thermal Design Point
Chances are a 125w Deneb X4 and 125w Thuban X6 do not pull the same amount of power, though give off the same heat.

1.55v is upper limit on Deneb for air, you have to be stupid to run 1.6v on air without water.

On a Xiggy S1283 I'd keep things around 1.525v.

CPU will not fry unless you are up over 60c on air and above 1.6v. To be safe though 1.5 ish is your best bet.

Umm, I know it is, it's in the motherboard section in my sig to make it look more neat.

And as I said down the bottom of my reply, regarding the MSI and it's phases, I clearly said I might be mistaken, I'm not entirely sure, a quick Google of the board bought up nothing with blown mosfets, you might be able to find some by looking through it all with more detail yourself.

Would the mosfets going out because of overclocking be covered by my warranty? ive only had this board for about 7 months
