I've got mine going from 28-70% which is a good balance and 99% of the time it's idling at the 28% mark.

D5's are the quieter pump at full speed, but they also dump a lot more heat. I used to be a D5 only user back in the DDC2 high rate of failure days, but have since been migrating to DDC pumps. They simply are more powerful and I can't look past that.
