tried to overclock, but couldn't get it stable, it was @ 2.8 for few days, also tried 3.0, but this wasn't very stable, made it back to 2.8 for some time, but it freezed while playing, so i put it back to 2.6, because i don't have much time to do that these days hm

If you can, try dedicating a whole hard drive to FRAPS, even if it's just a 320GB drive. You'll see a HUGE difference in performance.

Not just a different HDD, a dedicated drive. Was that drive empty and freshly formatted?

The new MSI Predator does a great job with maintaining FPS. It usually drops 5-10 FPS which doesnt really make a difference, although u can't render it using Sony Vegas you can easily render it using Windows Movie Maker.

Doesn't save it in a format Vegas can work with. FRAPS is VERY demanding trying to record full-size. But I see two culprits. Minimum Phenom I, and no fast HDD dedicated to saving footage. You either have to lower details, lower in-game resolution to something that will sustain 720p (1280x720), or record in half-size. I've tried other recorders, but none were as clear as FRAPS videos. Which is a shame, considering how HUGE uncompressed 1080p is.
