Need to OC my Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86Ghz to atleast a 2.4Ghz (under 1.5V)!!

P.S -------MY SPECS---------
Core 2 duo E6300 1.86Ghz @ 1.325V

I've attempted ClockGen before and you'll only reach a certain voltage before it crashes.

So what I'm really saying is..

If your C2D is set at 1.325, your max clock would be let's say for example- 2 GHz, then you would have to reach a higher voltage to achieve 2+ GHz, but since your bios is locked (never buy OEM crap, they're half complete boards) you can't change your voltage any higher.

Hope this helps.. never buy OEM lol.

Well if you feel that 2 GHz is fine, I'd "try" ClockGen.. do you know your multiplier? There's a certain FSB clock before your computer crashes, locks or BSoDs

Attempted on my Q6600, maximum was about 316 FSB (2.7 - 2.8 GHz) when I had an HP board

I've looked up your CPU's multiplier, it's 7, so your FSB should be 266 just like what my Q6600 was. Try going up to 300, come back with results (that's if you crash lol)

edit: I forgot, slide the FSB up slowly
