Thinking about picking this up for my Dad for Father's day. He has the I-Inc 28 inch now, and I know he thinks its too big and bulky. I would like to get this for him since its LED and I can get it for about $250. He does game a bit. Any thoughts on this monitor?

I've always been a huge fan of Dell monitors. They are decently priced, have a nice look and feel and are reliable. Go for it

For that price I'd rather get a U2311H.

23 inch is to small. I've tried it and I know my father will think its too small. 24 inch is the sweet spot I think. And the U2311 is also about $350 now with tax. I got the 24 inch LED one for $250 shipped...

The U2311H is $280 on the Dell website, AFAIK.

Either way, looks like a pretty nice LED monitor. Hope your father enjoys it

I had that monitor anyway, the U2311. It was ok. I really really hate the heavy AG coating on it and the U2410. To me it makes text and whites look very very dirty.
