I have the following: X6 1055T, Crosshair Formula IV, Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/4G 4GB PC3-10666 1333MHz.

I'm having troubles of getting it OC'd to 4GHz atleast. but lately im hanging @ 3.9Ghz with the following settings:

CPU Voltage = 1.45v

Ram Voltage = 1.65v

NB Voltage = 1.325v

Multiplier = 14

FSB = 278

When i changed the FSB to 279+ and windows loads safely to loginscreen. Once i started Prime95, after 10-15minutes of stress i get the well-known blue screen.

Do you think that my ram stickies are holding me back? The latency settings? I haven't dared to try to change the latency settings coz i have no clue about it. I've tested several things changing the NB frequency even the HT Link nd etc. I'm getting lost and tired. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Lower HT Link Speed to 2000MHx +/- 200MHz for stability. No performance gains at all with a Phenom II actually it hurts it!
NB Voltage = 1.325. Is this NB voltage or CPU/NB voltage? Could be too much for actual NB voltage (how are you testing?) and may not be enough for CPU/NB voltage.
When running Prime95
BSOD is usually a lack of Vcore
"Worker has stopped" failure is usually a lack of either Dram voltage or CPU/NB voltage (sometimes a combination).

1333MHz ram isn't doing you any favors, think about upgrading to at least 1600MHz to begin feeling some of the power in the CHIV plus have some headroom to OC. Check out the link in sig for the CHIV club. You'll find several helpful links under the members list's. If I can help any further just post back or feel free to PM me.
Good luck and have fun!

I had this moment, when i had the FSB @ 280 and vCore @ 1.45v and 6-6-6-18-20 (stock).. Prime95 was running stable @ 30minutes and when i loaded HWiNFO, Prime95 failed and stopped working.. So i reloaded Prime95, a few seconds later i got the bluescreen.. So i changed FSB to 278 and vCore to 1.55..

Its all running stable after 1.5 days but the thing is i cant OC it to 4GHz.. My computer keeps getting the bluescreen nonstop.. What can i change to get that little bit of Ghz to pull it off to 4GHz? I cant get the 1600MHz since my mobo doesnt support it. I have the Crosshair Formula IV..

This is my current settings..

RAM Speed : 557.9 MHz (1:2) @ 7-7-7-20-27

I know it's been 5 days now but some blue screens can be an indication of a bad RAM overclock or what not.

Drop your RAM to 1333 and clock from there. I'm gonna redo my 1055T around this as AMD uses a strap...my 870 board still running 3 years straight at 3.9 I gotta check my settings if I can get past Sofia videos...lol.

My overclock of is no longer stable with a nb voltage of 1.20v. it's requiring 1.24 to boot into windows and 1.26 to not bsod during occt testing. is it normal for the voltage requirement to up itself after months of stability? i've tried downclocking it from 3.8 to 3.6 and still the nb voltage pesters me if it's not upped.

That reminds me of a time when my RAM went bad, bought some new TridentX kit, and BSOD's was a thing of the past!
