I have just started working on my first Linux distro overclock. The cpu I chose to start with is my good old 955 that I have worked every which way with different Windows OSes. My report is I have a stable 3.8MHz (simply a multi change to 19x200 with 1.4250V). This OC is working out well on air at 51C Megahalems) It has been folding stable for 2hrs. This OC is working out much better than with Windows (meaning folding under windows or Linux). I ask are these results typical of what others have found? I expected to have to use more volts and produce more heat.
