1100t cooler issues

hi i built my first amd computer,yesterday and turned it on for the first time today after about 20 minutes i was overclocking it then about 20 minutes after that i saw the temp start to skyrocket and the stock fan cooler was pretty noisy, so i decided to rip it out and would like to put in a "after market cooler" any tips or ideas thanks

here is my set up
cpu: amd phenom ll x6 1100t
Graphics: XFX radeon hd 6970
mobo: asus M5A88-V EVO HDMI
Case: In win Dragon rider full tower ( i want to turn it in to a home server at some point)
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066
Power supply: CORSAIR Enthusiast CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V
HDD: Seagate Barracuda green 1.5tb

Coolermaster Hyper 212+:if on a budget.

Thermaltake Frio:for good looking and performing air cooler.

Corsair H70/H80 or Antec Kuhler 620/920:for closed loop watercooling.

All the above will get you great temps.Also to help you further here is a link that i think you will find useful.

This would most likely go in the CPU section, just saying.
