Aquatuning.us--can I pay using a debit card if I select the credit card option?

I don't have a credit card, but if I click the "debit card" option it redirects me to PayPal. I don't have a PayPal account, nor do I want to get one. My question is: If I select the pay by credit card option, and put in my debit card number, will the transaction go through?

yes. as long as your debit card had a visa or mastercard logo, your good to go.

Why don't you just try? Normally you can use a debit card as a credit card in a brick and mortar store, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to online.

Sigh...
There were two of the product left in stock, and I added both of them to my cart just to see what the final cost would be after shipping, customs, tax, etc (I hate it when online stores don't give you a complete estimate before you enter in your payment details).

So I clicked on "debit card" and it redirected me to PayPal. So I clicked "Cancel and return to Aquatuning.us"

Now I got a confirmation email about my order and the product is no longer in stock. What the heck, I did not even enter my payment information. Not only that but now I can't place the order because the product is now listed as out of stock.

I did that a couple of times. While you may receive an email about the order making it appear that the order has been placed, it won't ship until aquatuning's warehouse receives confirmation from their "depot" where payment in local currency is processed. So if you submit an order then cancel payment, you'll never get charged.

But the thing is, I want to buy the product. It's just that now it thinks I bought it, when I really didn't, and since there were only two left it is now listed out of stock.

I don't see why this needed to be asked on a forum really. Why didn't you just try it? I don't see the harm.

I suggest you pick up the phone and ask whatever vendor it is about it personally. No one here can help you with that.

Good luck figuring it out nonetheless.
