but isn't the performance gain maximum around 2400 i thought there was no real gain at 2500+NB , my 955 doesn't bottleneck :V tho mines a C3 aswell but haven't had any real oc testing tho yet then again 460's are forgivable >_>

And you won't get high framerates with any AMD CPU in GTA IV, period. You could clock an x6 1090T to 4.5GHZ, and it's still going to be slow in GTA IV. Not to mention GTA IV doesn't support multi GPU setups anyway.
When I clock my 1090t to 4.0 ghz and my 6870 is at stock I get 56 fps on the in game test with vsync on. @ 4.45ghz and 2800nb I get around 75 with vsync off. I think the last patch really helped performance.

Play the game. You won't get anywhere NEAR that performance. I dip down to 35 at times with my sig rig at my sig clocks. Your 1090T will likely get unplayable at times, even at 4.4GHz.

I play with After burners on screen fps server, The lowest I ever see is honestly around 35 as well. At stock it dips to 22, there's no doubt in my mind that its a terribly optimized game. I remember how hard my core 2 and 3870 had to work for 20 fps.

Ok I adjusted my settings as per trulsrohk's reccomendation but Im getting like 65c in prime with 3.6ghz. Should I keep it here or notch it to 3.8?

Cooler is Cooler Master Hyper TX3 oriented to exhaust with my 120 mm exhaust case fan

Don't go any higher. You're already running too hot. You shouldn't be passing 55*C.

Sorry for the hi-jacking. 65c is too hot, work on lowering your voltage until its unstable.

I played it recently and found both GPUs at around 60% load... Maybe newer drivers fixed it?

65 core or cpu temp? Core can be that as long as cpu doesn't get that hot overall, but yeah drop the voltage if you can. Even at core temp that is pretty hot

Are you 100% about that? I don't believe its safe to run AMD cores over 55.
