Holy crap that ninja keyboard is the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. It seriously blew my mind.

Anyone else on this?

What else do you need to know? Your limited to pretty much cherry mx boards with you budget. Filcos have been stated as the highest quality mx boards readily available... Basically all you need to do if figureout what switch, and what layout you want. You will need to decide that for yourself.

Switch types will always be personal. I don't see my budget as much of a limiting factor either given most people stick under such a figure. I mean, if it weren't is there something you would suggest that is so much better than cherry mx? Most I have seen are over rated for price to performance (seems to be the best analogy).

And to generalize Filcos as the best quality is a bit of an opinion. Some of their boards are inconsistent in quality after reading many reviews and experiences with them on here and GeekHacks. Plus there are a variety of threads of "Filco vs ___." Fill in the blank be it Das, Leopold, Ducky, etc. And it is kind of hard to just throw money out there and just pick one considering the prices of these boards.

My mission statement featuring musts and preferences were in my OP. I was hoping that would target one or two boards. Instead I see a lot of posts of people finding out about the Ninja board.

Not attacking you, but it would be nice to have a few more peeps chime in specifically responding to my OP. As with any statistics the more numbers you have to poll from the better the results and the more reliable the data.
