I would go with this. My SSD was pretty cheap, and holds it's own against similar ones, but there are blazingly fast ones out there if your willing to spend the money.

You both seem like you guys have been in the game of building rigs for awhile. After you guys put a killer rig together, do you upgrade it for awhile? Like swap out parts? (if so what do you do with them?) Or do you guys just make whole new rigs?

Never really done this before.

What would be the difference between a

ADATA S599 AS599S 128gb

and Intel 320 160GB SSD

other than the 60gb and the $100? which I am assuming thats y its $100more

Swapping is basically maintenance for a rig, you'll find that your swapping out and upgrading parts just as often as removing dust. My sig rig originated from one I build a year ago with a Phenom II 550 BE and an HD 4850. Usually you sell, upgrade, repeat. There are some guys that build new rigs, but not many.

EDIT: I'm gonna leave the SSD question to an expert, as my knowledge of SSDs is very limited.

Swapping out parts is normal besides a new socket from Intel or Amd (usually you spring for a new rig. )

Swapping is great and easily, and check on the Egg for sales! Subscribe to their news list!

SSDs: I'm not an expert but the Vertex 3's and th Intel 510's are blazing fast but about $2 a gb.

I don't know much about ADATA but SSD's tend to have a high failure rate so going with a trusted manufacturer is a must. I trust Intel about 1000x more than ADATA.....

This, I would either go Intel or OCZ for SSDs. That's what I would've done if I wasn't strapped for cash when I bought mine.

ADATA have high failure rate. The Microcenter SSDs are ADATA ssds rebranded. My friend who works in Microcenter says that a few customers have returned Microcenter SSDs after several weeks of use.

Intel SSDs are well known for reliability. I should know. I own one
I'm thinking of upgrading to the Intel 510 250GB.
