DRAM voltage 2.1 too high?

Thread Starter
2x2GB Kingston pc2-6400U 800 ram

2x1GB PQI26400-2GDBL 800 ram

CPUZ says that both are running at 1.8V when left on AUTO in bios

so is 2.1V too high for these modules?

im pretty sure that it would be fine, i just like to double check. And if 2.1V is ok, what about 2.2V? i could use the extra volts. thanks again guys

Maybe, it depends on what model/series of memory you are using.
Take a look at this page and tell me if one of these is your ram.

I would not hesitate at all running 2.2v through DDR2 for 24/7 usage. I say you're completely fine.

2.1v is totally standard for DDR2, but I'd probably keep it there.
