Something I cant seem to figure out (GTX460)

So here I go...

Tuesday I will be getting my PC delivered and I will finally be able to put it together and start gaming. But my question is this. I already have a PNY GeForce GTX 460 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/PNY+-+ [...] Id=1234118

So since I will be running SLI I went back to Best Buy to purchase the same GPU but had to go with another brand since they were out of that PNY card. I instead decide on buying the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NVIDIA [...] &cp=1&lp=8

Now the problem I have here is that, well I kept looking for Reviews benchmarks specifically for the "Nvidia" built one. But all I could ever find where EVGA MSI or PNY tests. Now both cards have the exact numbers both sitting at 675mhz core and 1350shader clock. But I just can't decide which one to put as "Main" GPU. Or does it matter in this case as they are both clocked the same way?

P.S. My first time using SLI, when I assemble the PC can I install both cards or should I wait till I have Windows and the Drivers installed before adding the second card?

Thanks in advance!

Test both cards individually and put the cooler card on top , as the top card will be getting warm air coming off the back of the lower card .

What Fred said +1

Whichever one runs cooler (on load) should go in the top slot. Perf-wise it makes absolutely no difference which one is top/bottom. Even if only one was OC'd, it still wouldn't matter.
