I just ordered my water cooling parts, comments or opinions?

PC specs in my sig

Parts:

XSPC Rasa RX240 kit
XSPC RS 120 Radiator
DD-6970 V2 Waterblock
7/16" ID 5/8" OD Black Primochill tubing (12ft)
4 Bitspower compression fittings
MX-4 Thermal Paste
+ Kill coil (Going to buy some distilled water locally)

Bought from Jabtech and Performance PC's

What do you think? I sure hope this will work with a CPU/Single GPU loop.

Any other tips for a WC newbie?

You will LOVE the XSPC kit, I started water cooling last week, and literally I just put it together and turned it on. No problems, great temps very easy. I used black primochill tubing also. You will have plenty for this build and another.

Make sure you rinse out the rads with a ton of distilled water, get 2 gallons. and just keep filling them up, shaking them like crazy, and emptying them.

I also am waiting for my MX-4 to show, just ordered some, we will see how it does

Looks very nice! I am getting a very similar set up as you, except I am getting white tubing. I was very tempted to get black but eh I'm sure both will look nice.

The only negative thing I have heard about the RASA kit is that it has a somewhat weak pump. So that may be something you may want to upgrade in the future should the need arise, but if your temps end up being fine I wouldn't worry about it. Just a future upgrade suggestion.

Good luck!
