Power suppy

Hey, I was wondering if my Thermaltake litepower 700w psu could run an evga gtx 580 superclocked?

my power supply does not a have a +12v rail with a maximum of 42a but instead two +12v rails 30a and 22a.

it should be ok. i only use the bigger names for psu's never used one of those. but you should be able to power your card

Should be fine if it's a solid unit. Can't find specs for the thing anywhere though. But, if it's a decent unit, 700W is more than enough.

That is not a decent unit. Only decent psu thermaltake makes is the toughpower. I would get a new one as I wouldnt trust it with a $500 gpu.

Edit: max output is only 600w and thats with all of the rails combined.
