Need expert opinion on ridding the legend of Ducky PBT key caps

Regarding the recent batch of crappy in fill on Ducky's PBT key caps, how can I best remove the in fill without harming the key caps?

I thought an all black caps would look better than a patchy fading legend.

If possible at all, I am thinking soaking them in some kind of solvent (alcohol? nail polish remover?) and brush the in fill off with a toothbrush.

I realise that there could be no 100% certain solution in this one, just give me your best educated guess.

BTW, I also work in a chemical lab and have access to many solvents and ultrasonic bath.

Anything that isn't going to damage plastics, the paint isn't that great so any decent solvent should do a good job on it.

Fingernail Polish Remover worked well for Steelseries keys.

The plastic looks melted, I assume that was ABS, and I suppose PBT would be fine?

Not my pic. No Watermark.

Sandblasting works too but that's pretty hardcore.
