How can I overclock it? And to what extent is it possible? Thanks.

Overclocking on an IGP in what seems like a laptop is already sketchy, and because it is embedded in your processor now, I have yet to see of a way to do that.

Welcome to OCN!

What does the IGP have to do with overclocking the processor? Most laptops with 2630QM's have cards anyway.

I know it is, but what difference does it make when a dedicated GPU is used instead anyway?
Whether the chip includes a IGP or not, it's still overclockable.

You can't do much since the clock gen is integrated into the CPU. If you were to change it , it would mess up a bunch of stuff.

Also multiplier is locked, so you can't do much there either.

What computer do you have this processor in? It's really not smart to overclock a CPU thats in a laptop or a airflow restrictive computer, and that is where this chip can usually be found.

Really? I had no clue. eek.gif
So all laptop processors with IGP's can't be clocked higher at all?
